A 3rd matched pair up for auction! Serial Number 07488905 matched pair, where both bills were brought together through Project 2013B, is now on Ebay with a starting bid price set at $4900. This marks the first matched pair put up for auction from the 3rd run of duplicated serial numbers (namely those in the range from 06,400,001 to 09,600,000).
The record price of $9301.58 set on March 30th were for bills that were graded 66 and 35. The grade for the notes currently up for auction are 65 and 40, so it should be interesting to see if the better grade 2nd note of this pair, makes up for the slightly better graded 1st note of the pair that sold for $9301.58 (I am calling the higher graded note of a matched pair as the 1st note, and the lower graded note of the same pair as the 2nd note, for lack of a better name.)
