A stunning PCGS graded matched pair of 2013 $1 star notes, both VF 25.

This exciting discovery marks the 15th matched pair of 2025 and the 158th identified by Project 2013B since its inception in 2021, underscoring the ongoing allure of collectible U.S. dollar bills. This particular pair of 2013B Star Notes, each confirmed by photo proof from their respective co-owners, brings a unique backstory to the world of rare currency.

The 'Fort Worth' printed note was registered in 2025 by Project 2013B member Gri40, an avid collector from Florida. Gri40, inspired by Eric Miller on TikTok, developed a passion for hunting star notes and unique serial numbers, often acquiring new notes through their son's work at Papa John's. The 'Washington DC' printed counterpart was registered earlier, in 2024, by member o4iJY, who has a more extensive history with the project, having submitted a significant 27 serial numbers to the database. This collaboration between collectors, one relatively new and the other more seasoned, beautifully illustrates the community aspect of Project 2013B.
