THE MASTER LIST IS NO LONGER PUBLICLY VIEWABLE.

Shocked? You shouldn't be. |
The master list of serial numbers (often called the project’s database) was a viewable PDF file intended for people to verify their submissions. The list was a report of the serial numbers in the project's database, with the contact information OMITTED to protect people's privacy and protect them from spam.
Even in the cases where there is no scam, the serial numbers on the list should not have been treated as 100% true. At least once every 1-2 weeks I get contacted by someone who says their serial number they submitted had a typo (usually noticed after they request a report of all of their serial numbers (link below). Another common typo, although hard to imagine, is people mixing up the frontplate text and entering data for a DC note when in reality they have a Fort Worth note. There have also been cases where a match was detected in the database, but only after contacting the owners, finding out that one of the owners had already sold their bills. In this year alone, I have only been contacted only ONCE by someone who had sold their bills and wanted me to take their serial numbers off of this list.
When the list was pulled from public view, I created an online webpage for easy verification of submissions. The link is clearly shown once you haven pressed SUBMIT on the submission form. Once your serial numbers are accepted, there is no need to check or request a master list. You will be contacted as soon as a match is detected. That is afterall the whole point of this project.
For those curious to know which of their serial number submissions were accepted and are currently in the database, you can request a report at report.2013b.com
Enter the copycat...
In February 2024, I discontinued the publication of the publicly available PDF serial number list. Over the following seven months, only one individual expressed concern over its removal. Unfortunately, this same individual threw a childish tantrum and later launched a copycat website using my project’s name and simply adding 2.0 to it. He has even stated on his own site that his intent was to provoke me. Caution is advised when visiting this so-called “2.0” website. While it claims to include over 50,000 serial numbers, it appears to rely entirely on my outdated list of 47,066 entries and has no contact information for any of them. In one documented case, after discovering a matching serial number, the copycat was unable to reach the other party and had to ask the one person who registered on his site that they would have to register on my site instead.
The core database of this project—containing both serial numbers and submitters’ contact information—is updated daily and is not publicly accessible or stored online. As such, it is protected against unauthorized access. The copycat site now asserts it has more serial numbers than my database, yet this claim does not appear to be supported by evidence. Although it showcases a list on its website, basic calculations based on the number of pages and entries per page indicate there are fewer than 7,000 entries publicly displayed. With the original 47,066 from my legacy list presumably included, this leaves approximately 26,934 serial numbers unaccounted for—raising questions about the site's data integrity and claims.
As of June 2025, my verified database contains 76,926 unique serial numbers, each linked to a valid email address and, increasingly, a phone number. Unlike the unverified entries found on the imitation site, all submissions to my project undergo strict validation. Currently between 5% and 40% of the daily submissions to my website have proven to be invalid. Each dollar bill is reviewed for consistency among front plate, back plate, and serial number details, ensuring it qualifies as a legitimate 2013 star note, and is also from the known duplicated serial number range. In contrast, a review of the copycat site reveals frequent inaccuracies, such as invalid plate numbers, internal inconsistencies, and data that fails even basic verification checks.
