Tips for Shipping Your Banknote Safely

start with putting your bill in a small envelope

Tape the bill to a piece of stiff cardboard or Coreplast (corrugated plastic). Ensure the piece is larger than the small envelope but can still fit a 6" x 9" mailer.

Add another layer of cardboard (or Coreplast), and tape all 4 sides.

Place your now-protected 'banknote sandwich' into a 6" x 9" bubblewrap or 'stay-flat' mailer

Don't rely on the mailer's glue to keep the flap from popping open. Tape it shut as well with tape (packing tape if you have it.... whatever helps with MY paranoia)

Write "Do Not Bend" somewhere on the mailer. I've heard of people shipping LP records only to find their postman BENT their mailer in half to make thei mail fit a slot.

Lastly, checck the mailing address three times.
