The first note, printed in Washington, DC, was submitted in 2022 by member BoeOf, a dedicated collector with 90 serial number submissions. Its matching note, printed at the Fort Worth facility, was registered in 2025 by member GZWgV, who has submitted 21 serials so far.

One of these unique banknotes surfaced in Georgia, while its pair was located in Montana — a remarkable reminder of how rare currency pairs can surface anywhere across the United States.

I'm from Venezuela  ::   Greetings, my attitude of collecting has become my lifestyle, I have done it since I was a child, in 1989 I did the first phone card show and it was a success, I was only 17 years old and when I got the 3 most difficult cards from my country I put my collection away and had already reached the end, then there were cars in static modeling, it didn't catch my attention as much, then baseball cards wow it was a real fury and finally I stayed with the American bills.  it is very beautiful, it arouses a lot of curiosity to read, observe, detail each piece that passes through my hands, know the bank presidents, the authors of the design of the piece that I have in my hands, it is very nice to collect bills, I already have 23 star notes  and I am very happy to get a curious bill every day.

Final moments of the auction where a last-second bid secured the rare duplicated serial number error note pair for $1,894, plus buyer’s premium.

With just nine seconds remaining in Sunday’s auction, a final bid secured the winning price of $1,894. In addition to the hammer price, the buyer is responsible for a $236.75 buyer’s premium, bringing the total purchase amount to $2,130.75.

This particular pair features the duplicated serial number 00141128, which is currently the lowest known serial number ever confirmed and auctioned as a matched error pair. The production anomaly that led to the duplication occurred across three separate print runs, with the first run spanning serial numbers 00000001 to 00250000. As the earliest and oldest of the three runs, it is uncertain how many notes from this batch remain in circulation today.
