PROJECT 2013B has it's 43rd confirmed match! There are now 55 confirmed matching pairs over the history of this project, the project that preceded it, and matched pairs spotted at auctions. Started in October of 2021, Project 2013B started with a list of 10,072 banknotes, and now has over 37,256 unique banknotes registered it its database, and 6183 members.

Yesterday a customer handed me a $5 bill for a $1.50 purchase, then decided to use two ones instead. Damn glad he did. This was one of em and I decided to look it up right away. Couldn't believe when I saw a match. Hope I get a response from the other note holder. Thanks so much for doing what you do. I tipped ya 10 coffees.

Photos of the bills from both parties officially confirmed a match today. From the day the match was detected in the database, to today's photo verification took 54 days.
Over 78% of all known Duplicate Serial Number Pairs have been discovered by Project 2013B !
